The band’s new EP comes out in February.Įarlier this fall, Porno for Pyros were forced to postpone their first tour in 25 years, which was set to kick off in Wheatland, CA on October 8th. The incoming tune follow’s the band’s song “Hard Charger,” which Farrell wrote and recorded in 1997, and features a guest appearance by Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction) and Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers). “ “Agua” – our new single, an ode to the sea and all it’s beautiful creatures,” the band added via social media. “ Getting together with these guys has been some of the most fun, the happiest times in my life.” “ Now we’re here, and that same heart, that same desire to make music together, has returned,” frontman Perry Farrell commented in a statement. The band, featuring Jane’s Addiction members Perry Farrell (vocals) and Stephen Perkins (drums), along with founding members Peter DiStefano (guitar) and Martyn LeNoble (bass), will drop their new song “Aqua” on November 16th through Rhino Records (pre-save here).
